Unique negotiates are negotiate cards with special effects that apply when making deals and receiving compensation. They can be found in the reward decks from Cosmic Incursion, Cosmic Dominion and Cosmic Odyssey.

Cosmic Incursion[]

  •  N (Crooked Deal): Allows players to skew the deal slightly to their advantage.
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, but collects compensation equal to the number of ships lost to the warp plus 1.
    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal. If the deal fails, the player loses one less ship than normal, while the opponent loses one more. Thus, the opponent has more of an incentive to agree to the terms of the deal, even if they may not be as favorable to him or her.

Cosmic Dominion[]

  •  N (Epic Oratory)
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, but either collects double compensation or prevents your ships from going to the warp (your choice). Note: If played by the offense, this card does not allow them to land their ships on the targeted planet.
    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal (up to two colonies per player may be gained) or lose three ships to the warp.
  •  N (Faulty Translator)
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, but collects compensation from any one opposing ally (or from the opponent if he or she has no allies).
    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal using only gestures. If the deal fails, players each lose one ship fewer than usual (i.e., two instead of three).
  •  N (Right of Refusal)
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, but collects compensation.
    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal or lose three ships to the warp.
    • If you receive any cards from compensation or a deal, you may discard any or all of those cards.
  •  N (Self Defense)
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, with no compensation. Send one opposing ship to the warp for every ship lost on your side.
    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal or lose three ships to the warp.

Cosmic Odyssey[]

    • Opposed by Negotiate: Becomes a 00.
  •  N (Pyrrhic Victory)

    • Opposed by Negotiate: Players have one minute to make a deal or lose three ships to the warp.

  •  N (Extreme Demands)
    • Opposed by Attack: Loses, but collects double compensation.
